Step into the Magic at Foyleside

We're delighted to unveil Foyleside's Polar Expedition 2026: a fully immersive Christmas experience on Level 2, where every step brings you closer to Santa.

The Journey Begins

Your adventure starts in the Mail Room, the bustling post room where letters to Santa arrive and are sorted. Children can write and post their own letter before stepping aboard the Magical Elevator for their journey to the North Pole.

When the doors open, you'll find yourself in Santa's Reindeer Stables, where his reindeer are resting before the big night. From there, follow the path through a snow-covered woodland glowing beneath the Northern Lights, and stop to hear a Christmas story from our magical talking Story Tree.

Finally, step through Santa's doors into his cosy grotto, where Santa is waiting to share the wonder of Christmas with every child.

Children: £8.50 each
Adults: £2 each
Booking fee: £1.80 per booking

Each child's ticket includes:

• A letter to Santa in the Mail Room
• A ride on the Magical Elevator to the North Pole
• A walk through the Reindeer Stables and enchanted woodland
• A visit with Santa in his grotto
• A festive selection box to take home

You're welcome to capture your own moments of magic or let the Magic Memories Photo Store create keepsakes you'll treasure forever.

Prefer things a little calmer? Our dedicated sessions take place at quieter times in the centre, giving families with additional and sensory needs a more relaxed way to enjoy the magic.

Our friendly team will be on hand to help. Some queuing is expected but we will strive to ensure a smooth entry. Everyone who feels they would benefit from this session is welcome.
